YAY!!
In an Oscar upset... my favorite movie of 2005 won BEST PICTURE! I was so excited!
Also surprising about last night's awards, "It's Hard Out Here For a Pimp" from Hustle & Flow won Best Song!! Right before it was announced, I said wouldn't it be funny if the pimp song won? Hilarious! Seeing the true ecstatic JOY and surprise on the guys from Three 6 Mafia's faces was worth the win!

That is pretty unusual, that a movie you really want to win actually does. I haven't seen Crash, so I can't comment on it, but I think it's fun when something unusual like that happens in Hollywood.
Yeah...I love crash and stoked that it came out on top. One of my favorite movies of all time...but I was still kinda sad for Brokeback. I know Billy might get all up in my grill about how it wasnt that good and that there were "bigger issue movies" that were way better (*wink wink :-) ), but I still think that it was an amazing film (also one of my favorites).
Luv dem Dukes! Too bad no Best Pic Oscar... weep, weep :(
